This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven<\/p>\n\n\n\n
this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n whoever calls on the name of the LORD\n Shall be saved.\u2019<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nJesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nHim, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nwhom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n \u2018I foresaw the LORD always before my face,\n For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;\n Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n For You will not leave my soul in Hades,\n Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see wcorruption.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n You have made known to me the ways of life;\n You will make me full of joy in Your presence.\u2019<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nof the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nHe would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nconcerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nThis Jesus God has raised up<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nTherefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n The LORD said to my Lord,\n \u201cSit at My right hand,\n Till I make Your enemies Your footstool<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nGod has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nRepent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nFor the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nBe saved from this perverse generation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nSilver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nThe God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nyou denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nand killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nBut those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nRepent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nevery soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nTo you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nin Jesus the resurrection from the dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthe stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nNor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nLord, you are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\ntruly against your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nto do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nto the resurrection of the Lord Jesus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nWe ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. aim God has exalted to His right hand to be prince and savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nYou stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nWhich of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nwho have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthe things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nfor your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n \u201cHe was led as a sheep to the slaughter;\n And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,\n So He opened not His mouth.\n In His humiliation His ajustice was taken away,\n And who will declare His generation?\n For His life is btaken from the earth.\u201d<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nIf you believe with all your heart, you may.\u201d
And he answered and said, f\u201cI believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat He is the Son of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nproving that this Jesus is the Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthe name of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthe name of the Lord Jesus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\npeace through Jesus Christ\u2014he is Lord of all\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nwhom they killed by hanging on a tree. Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. no Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive permission of sins<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nGod has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018You are My Son,\n Today I have begotten You.\u2019<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\nAnd that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018I will give you the sure mercies of David<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nAnd as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nWe must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nBut we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved in the same manner as they<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nSo they said, \u201cBelieve on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, \u201cThis Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nsaying there is another king\u2014Jesus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nbecause he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthese times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nJesus is the Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nwhich He purchased with His own blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nConcerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged by you this day.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nto open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nthat the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nhe explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand;\n And seeing you will see, and not perceive;\n For the hearts of this people have grown dull.\n Their ears are hard of hearing,\n And their eyes they have closed,\n Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,\n Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,\n So that I should heal them<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
